AutoModifed Team interview – JK

AM: What is your name?
JK: Joe Klein

AM: Food topics are bland, but they are always popping up in bloody interviews so let’s get this one done with. What’s your favourite food?
JK: Anything cooked and prepared by my wife-this woman can cook!!!Take aways, must be McD’s!

AM: What is your occupation apart from being part of the AutoModified team?
JK: I’m a primary school teacher,teaches Grade 5 at Hillwood P. S. in Lavender Hill, Cape Town.

AM: This question probably sounds like something you would be asked at a dating show but I’m sure some ladies out there would like to know, lol.. Married/Single/Attached?
JK: Married for 5 years now!!!

AM: Where about did you grow up in South Africa and where are you based at the moment?
JK: Born, bred and hustled the streets of Parkwood, Cape Town!

AM: Have you ever been out of South Africa, if so where too?
JK: No, I’m a teacher(government, give us that increases!!,lol)

AM: So what was the first car you drove and then what was the first car you owned?
JK: My first car I drove was a Nissan Skyline 2lSGLi-I was only 13. My first car I owned and still have is a Mercedes Benz 230E, 124 series.

AM: Muscle car or Tuner or Classic?
JK: More into show cars, but classics will do.

AM: Turbo or N/A?
JK: A bit of both,speed kills that’s why my show stopper is a sleepy 1300-lol

AM:We realize this is pretty much a typical car talk question so let’s tick this box while we are talking about it. What is your ultimate car and what helped you decide on that specific car?
JK: I got my show stopper as bargain from my sister but my dad has always been a Ford man

AM: Racing, dragging or drifting?
JK: Lol, show and go for me but drags is ok.

AM: Which better fits your style of car, Performance or Sound?
JK: Styling and sound. I used to have a full 144.4 db Lightning Audio system in my car.

AM: Bass or Clarity?
JK: Sound qaulity-it must feel like you are at a live concert.

AM: What CD are you listening to at the moment?
JK: 1990′s Billboard 100!Paperboy and the Ditty!

AM: Any future plans running through your mind for your car?
JK: Take it as it comes.Money don’t have value anymore.

AM: What’s going to be the next car you buy?
JK: Mazda Sting 160i sadan-I love those cars!

AM: Keeping on topic here, what’s your favorite brand of vehicle?
JK: Doesn’t matter, as long as I can turn it into a stunner.

AM: Like any car enthusiast one would assume you have done some sort of modification to your vehicle, what is it and why?
JK: Wow,the motor is the only thing standard. I done the body, wheels(a few times, sound(a few times) man, I spnet alot of teacher wages on my ride.

AM: While we are on the topic of the website, how did you get involved with AutoModified?
JK: Johann aka Jomacher an Willie aka Thor!

AM: Lets step away from cars for a little bit and step into the entertainment arena. What’s the worst joke you have heard recently and what was it?
JK: Jou pa dra ‘n bra

AM: If you could have one super power what would it be and why?
JK: To give a good education to all our kids out there!!!

AM: Favorite movie of all time?
JK: Anything produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, damn he’s good

AM: Name three things not many people know about you?
JK: 1. I’m a shy fella
2. I’m an addicted to my rides
3. I’m a happy guy-ALWAYS

AM: What do you do most weekends?
JK: Being Major Dad to my two Soldiers,Jaydan and Jermaine under strict supervision of the Ministress of Finances,my wife,Faranaaz…”

AM: We all speed once in a while :D
So how many speeding fines have you clocked up and what’s the highest speed through a camera that you’ve been caught at?
JK: One weekend(Easter) I accumulated a R2000 of fines:Thursday-R350 for speeding,Friday-R500 for the colour of my headlights,Saturday-R150 fail to wear seatbelt and Sunday-R1000 for jumping a red light. I will never forget that weekend.
