AWD Turbo Opel Corsa – Part 2

So for those that missed the 1st part of the build thread, here it is.. just click the link
Alright hopefully everybody is up to date with whats trying to be achieved here. So we left off with the body work being done.

This is what the cars has been based on, its a rally version of an Opel Corsa B and I wont lie, it looks hot as hell!

With the C20xe in and the turbo manifold all hooked up it seems that the clearance between the turbo manifold and the front valence is a bit on the small side.

Time for some nice turbo plumbing and a nice new shiny turbo bits.. Boost all day everyday

After that was completed, it was time to shed a bit of unwanted fat, lol.. its all about power to weight here!
The boot lid was cut up so that the Radiator get nice a nice feed of cold air.

Now that the weight reduction is completed it was time to add some more weight but this is a very important factor as the Corsa is going to be seeing some rough driving experiences. The skid plates are no where near light but are very essential.

Some more plumbing, this time for the Radiator that is situated at the back of the boot

With the water plumbing all plumbed it was then time to hit the exhaust section of the turbo setup. Silencers, what are those… hhehehe

Work work work, so now that every thing kits correctly and has its place, lets take it all out so that the body can get prep’d for treatment and spraying.

The dash is being fitted and then will have the gauges fitted and eventually wired up.

While all the spraying and prepping was being done the engine also got a lick of paint and this is how she came out.. looking aggressive all painted up in red!

We going to skip the bits where everything gets put back in place and all that, so here is the finished product…
