Monstermob Racing – Drift School

24 June 2010 25 Comments

A few days ago we had the most amazing interview with Drifter and Owner of the Monstermob team, Otto Graven. The interview was such a success that the AutoModified Team decided to do a follow up about Monstermob.

Monstermob are moving at an amazing rate to becoming this country’s most influential and quality drift company around. In saying that, the Monstermob team have their very own drift track at the back of their workshops. Now you tell me, how amazing is that? Monstermob also has a Performance Parts Shop and a Panel Shop. So if you like smoking tyres, modified engines and crazy drifting nuts, the monstermob racing complex is for you.

This is what really got me interested in Monstermob its self. Have you ever wanted to Drift or learn how to do amazing doughnuts? Well now Monstermob has the facilities to teach us all of this. Otto Graven is a certified trainer and even trained in Japan under D1 regulations.
The primary objective of the Drifting Training, is to teach drivers how to drift on a high speed track.  This must be done competently and the product must be a result of professional training, hard work and dedication both from the instructor and the student.

The guys train every Wednesday on there own Skidpan at the Monstermob complex so you can be assured you are in capable hands, Monstermob definately know exactly what is going down with regards the drift scene.

I checked out the website and I so would want to do the course, even if I don’t become a team member it’s well worth the cash. Unfortunately, the Minister of Fiances (refering to my wife)does not agree with me in this regard. I will keep on trying to convince her in this regard.

This “Minister of Finances” seems to be a problem with most… We wish you the best of luck in your ongoing persuasion :-)

LOL. Blair, youre asking way too muvh dude. She will never. She’s too scared of speed. She was in an accident on a farm road and it turned out to be a very bad experience. The result is that the slightest of swerve puts her in a bad mood. The drifting will sort that out in a jiffy but getting her to do it will be harder than growing money on trees. I have treid and will persevere though !

ahh bummer, you can only try
Yes the drifting course will sort that fear out, and its in a controlled environment so there would be less of a chance of something going wrong.
