A while back I wrote a blog on one of my other websites about a friend’s Opel Corsa B. The response was so amazing that we have decided to post in on Automodified.
Opel Corsa has become more and more popular, almost as popular as the VW Citi Golf.
Opel Corsa’s body-styling parts are pretty easy to come by these days. Its especially easy here in South Africa as the guys that produce body-kits have noticed that many Opel owners have a tendency to modify the outer appearance of their cars
The great thing about buying a Corsa B is that there is such a wide variety of body-kits and styling accessories available for them. They are extremely popular and a lot of guys choose to modify the looks rather than modifying the engine. Anything goes these days, whether its just a nice pair of 15 inch mags, a pair of angel eyes or even a body-kit, Opel Corsa styling is just very accessible in South Africa.
Come to think of it, we know of 3 places in Cape Town alone that stock Opel Corsa body-kits. Modifying a car is all about the owners preference. Nobody can really tell you that your car mods look terrible. OK figuratively speaking they actually can, but at the end of the day its still your car and you need to be happy with the modifications you have done.
We browsed the internet and came up with a few nicely modified Opel/Vauxhall Corsa B’s that caught our eye.
You can also have a look in our Accessories section of the directory for body-kit stockists.
Nice, another opel article! Should be a headline… I like the blue one at the top – nice lil intercooler peeking out! Gold one is also ve neat, can get that kit from SA Auto Parts…
hehe, knew you would like it..
Remember how well the last Opel blog on Blogthis did, it got something like 40+ comments.. Here is to hoping for 60+ 🙂
The bleu corsa on top its made brutaly (I love it )
morning the black corsa is so nice but the yellow one is more more good
You are right Lenka, the Yellow/Gold one has nice Bodykit on and a cheeky Bucket seat in the cabin!
the gold one is pretty its all shiny hehe
I gotta agree with the blue one on top! But i also really like the black corsa. Still relatively standard looking…! He/she has done just enough mods to it without it being too over the top! Nice :p
Of course the top Opel Corsa is the most styling of them all, its that super sexy intercooler sticking out the front that everybody is attacked too…
Yeah, the euro look is becoming all the more popular. First the Golf and now the Corsa. I wonder what my Yaris will look like in Euro style ?
Yea it always starts with the VW, then the Corsa drivers follow, 😀
Hmmm your Toyota Yaris could look pretty wicked..
Why not photoshop it!
I liked the styleing of the corsa i think i will have to get my self one, or i think i might decide get the new focus rs turbo, or something i can work on, want make a beast, nice pages mate peace out !!
I Love the White one, Would love to have a list of whats been done to the car! would love to make mine look like that. What Alloys are they on it? I can tell theyve been customly sprayed black but they look the nuts!!

Hi can some1 pls tell me what bodykit that blue corsa has at the top of the page and if you can purchase it here in sa, I really like it, and and its not the same bodykit as the other pictures posted on the forum under blue corsa
Thanks
Zahur ill do a little bit of research for you, but as far as i know that bumper was a once off made in the UK. have you thought about importing one, we have a connection in Europe that makes wide-arch kits for European cars.
Oh that sucks, that bumper really looks hot. I’d really appreciate it if you could get me some more info on it, even pictures would be awesome. I looked into importing bt its rather pricey, I think it would be cheaper to have a duplicate made here or something similar at least.
ill check on monday, it probably would be a bit cheaper having it custom made here. Ill see if i have the original picture of the corsa.
Thanks a lot, that would really be appreciated:)
I would like to know or have the contact of that 2 places in Cape which are keeping corsa B accessories please
Hey I have a white opel corsa its a bit old I want to pimp my body of my car can u please giv Ideas and tell me wot I can get with a 6000
Howzit, man.. what about a set of coilovers to drop your car to the ground. We stock kits for the Corsa B’s
It all depends what you want from your car at the end of the day! sometime a drop and a nice set of wheels will transform your car drastically..
I see the corsa blog is still ahead on your blog! VW blogs left in the dust as always! Think I might be getting a set of those coilovers from you soon blair! Site’s looking really good dude! Nice work!
Hi everybody!
I’m looking for a bodykit to fit on my Corsa B.
Anyone know of places in Gauteng that sells them (excluding Autostyle – nothing wrong with their kits, I just want something different).
Loving the blog!
Cheers!!
im also looking for some here in sa 🙁
Corsa B in blue is hot, its got that evil look to it! Really interested in these places contacts in cape town. I will be getting my corsa in a couple of months time and then going to go over the top with it, more for show and shine… Speed just costs you money by replacing engine parts. Will sure to inform you with my progress love the site always following!
I found this page randomly and couldn’t resist commenting coz im about to lower my Corsa B 40mm on a set of 15″s and adding mud-flaps, my 1st major modification since i got it brand new in 2006…i almost immediately replaced the std. steering wheel for a smaller sports wheel as well as the pedals, both of which are tattered by now and will hopefully be replaced tomorrow while busy with my magz/suspension…other things ive played around with include a bee-sting radio aerial (removed), carbon-look bonnet guard (removed), clear lense rear lights (soon to be replaced with std.), sport mirrors (replaced with std.), carbon-look windshields (soon to be replaced), central locking/anti-hijack system, some CD/DVD/audio setups and a few different air intake solutions (currently customized Simota induction kit with cone filter, soon to be replaced by a customized intake using a K&N flat filter)…there have been a few very minor mechanical hiccups until now but i have to say that my Corsa B is very reliable and such a pleasure to drive, even after owning it for 6yrs it still surprises me at times!..the modification and styling options are endless, very inexpensive compared to other cars and easy to do even by yourself, if you know which way to point a screwdriver!…when I was looking for a new, entry-level car in 2005 so my options were a VW Chico (NOT a fan of those blocky-shaped VW Golf/Jetta’s) and i had my pen on the page for a Toyota Tazz (which I thought was way too pricey) when i got to compare those 2 along with a Corsa B on a used car lot…well, since then its been almost 140000km’s of reliability and pure fun! lol…i mean hey, its been 6yrs already but im only changing my wheels/suspension now, haven’t even touched the engine yet, plus there’s still so much to come with the tons of interior and body styling mods I have in mind…Corsa Lite 1.4i, alot more than you think!
Ok the rainy weather over the wkend kept me from doing anything…still in the pipeline though, still excited!
BLazer how is your car coming brother?
send us some pics
info@automodified.net
hey there, eventually fitted the 40mm springs on the 15″ but the mudflaps i got dont fit so i have to get the original Opel set…i fitted a set of pedals but within 2wks all of them came loose again! lol, dunno if i did something wrong there but havent had a chance to fit them again, been too busy and too broke to do anything else with the car since then…i dunno if its just me but my paydays are seeming very far apart these days…money talks but mine just waves goodbye, i cant say much more than that for now, cheers!
NIce!The pedals, were they the ones with clips at the back..?
pay day always seems to far when modifying a car 😉
HAHAHAHH thats a good one!
Yo where in capetown can i find a decent bodystyling shop for my corsa/?
What about Corsa Cs though, i feel they’re gaining popularity on the car mod scene as well. However body kits are hard to come by and there seems to be little variety with the ones available. Any one know of any good stockists out in Pta/Jhb?
Hi Ladies

Like the silver grey Corsa, I just bought one I think its a similar model, from a friend helping him out, BUT the color and style is pathetic, Mozambique does not have many options like back in S.A.
