Otto Gravens trip to Formula Drift 2011

8 August 2011 No Comment

For those of you that dont know Otto Graven is over in the USA taking part in the Forumla Drift Series, Team Monstermob shipped over Otto’s famous 350Z to take part in one of the worlds biggest Drifting events. This is a bit of a picture diary we have put together so you guys can follow a bit of Otto and his teams progress so far.
Whats an adventure to the US with out a bit of NASCAR?

Otto and Team making their way to one of the Formula Drift destinations. Take note of the horse under the lamp post in the image bellow, lol.

Otto’s 1st round of Drifting at Formula Drift.

Lots of tyres are going to be and are being used in the FD series.

Off to Summit Racing to buy some goodies for the 350Z, apparently this place is the size of an average shopping mall and you can buy almost anything there.

Some preparations being made to the car for the next session of drifting.

Time to change it up a bit; The Monstermob team went and got the Nissan 350Z wrapped in the good old South African Flag livery. The car was wrapped and ready to go for the next leg of the Formula Drift series 2011. Nice choice in livery guys! We are behind you guys 110%..

A couple of pictures of what the other drift camps look like.

Enough with the competitors lets keep it on team Monstermob, Otto getting ready to take part in a drift demo.

Whats a drift competition without signing autographs for the fans. Some lucky folks getting Formula Drift Caps signed by the man himself.. Man I would love to get my hands on a signed one, wink wink

After all that hard work its time to rebuild the box and pack up for Vegas!

VEEEEEGAAASSSSS BABY!!!!!!

Otto we wish you all the best and keep it sideways buddy, South Africa is super proud of you!

{Thanks Otto for the pics}
