Rally and Stunt School – Local lessons – Cape Town

19 July 2012 31 Comments

So you want be a stunt and rally pilot?

Stunt and Rally school will be launching on the 1st of September and were looking for 4 lucky drivers to be our test pilots! You will receive all the benefits of our corporate package however we will be tweaking the format of the course on the day. With this in mind were offering YOU the chance to be one of our Pilots at the low price of R800!!!!

Strap into our BMW 325i Rally car, get the revs up drop the clutch and scream towards the first corner. Not too fast because you’ll have to pull up the hand brake and head in the opposite direction in now time!

This is what you can expect on our corporate ready events from Stunt and Rally School. Flying through the dirt with your foot buried to the floor you turn the steering wheel and make tracks as the dust goes flying across the track.  Stunt and Rally school is all about fun with cars!  You too could be Rallying, Drifting, and Stunt driving like a pro within hours!
Each course consists of a briefing and totals 4 to 5 hours of fun in the sun!

You’ll learn cool tricks like powersliding, drifting, 180 hand brake turns and even how to park a car using the handbrake. You’ll end the day with a timed gymkhana run where you will see which one of our Pilots has got the right stuff! Stunt and Rally School gives you the opportunity to learn the necessary skills that Rally and Stunt drivers use on a daily basis in a safe environment.

For more info on how to become a Rally or Stunt driver, give Ernest Page at Stunt and Rally School a ring.

Hi David. Unfortunatly we are only based in CT for the moment.

Let us know when you’re down here and we can work something out. Our usual price is R1500 so once our Pilots have tested the format you will beable to enjoy the course as much as they did! :)

    regards

This is in Cape Town only. we do basics of drifting and powersliding but as this is on gravel the focus is mainly stunts and gymkhana type driving.

Is the Rally lesson a full day course and what do we need to bring along with us? Can we use our own cars to learn how to rally?
    I have a BMW also

    Hi there

this is a very basic introduction to stunt, rally and gravel driving. and this is the first of man future courses. We call this one SR101.

We unfortunatly do not cater to you using your own car no.

You dont need to bring anything else along. We supply helmets etc…

just closed shoes, long sleeves and your’re good to go!

what kind of bmw do you drift in
where in cape town are u

    Ernest Page(Instructor) Reply:

We are located on a farm gravel course out near Durbanville.
The BMW we use is a 325i and as I said its just an introduction to powersliding and drifting.

AS this does not take place on tarmac it is NOT a drift course.

your instructors however do have lots of experience drifting and coaching at a national level.

    Hi there…
I know this is VERY early still, but I’m the type that plans far in advance. This course that you offer, is it a limited time offer, or will it carry on indefinitely? I am considering many options, but am looking at something along these lines for next year sometime… It will be as a 21st gift…
Also, do you think your prices will go up in the near (about a years time) future?
I would really appreciate some insight on this!
    Regards
