The Saloon Car Track Day 2011 at Killarney this Saturday promises to be an action packed meeting with cars of all makes – road and racecars alike – taking to the circuit for fun sessions and demonstration runs. Admission to the facility is absolutely free, provided you come with a positive attitude and maybe even obey the urge to put your own road car on the circuit.

Be at the Killarney Race Track this coming Sunday the 31st of July 2011 to support the quarter mile professionals and see who will be the quickest over the 400 meter strip.

Various foods and refreshments are available at the facility or spectators are welcome to bring their own, skottel braais are welcome or use one of the various braai stands available on site.

Killarney this weekend: Streetcar Track Day & WPMC Club Drag racing

This coming weekend Killarney will be hosting a Streetcar Open Track day on Saturday afternoon from 2pm till 6pm. This event allows members of the public the opportunity to drive their road going cars around the 3,2km long main circuit. Drivers are separated into one of three groups depending on their driving experience while the Porsche club will have two 15 minute sessions before joining the rest of the normal groups later in the day. Racing cars are allowed however if piloted by a race driver they will be pushed into group 3, …

Sports & GT car section track day Sat 16th

This event is for Sports & GT car competitiors, friends and Sportcar interested people. 
These Cars include Porsche, Ferrari, Lotus and any other exotic Sports/GT Cars.
Entries 1.30pm till 3pm, CoC office at the bottom of the admin building.
2pm is the safety brief.
On the track till + 6pm.
Entry fee: (Drivers) WPMC members R200, Non members R250. (Passengers) R50 for all.
