Killarney MSA Drags & Gymkhana + Soundoff – 25th July 2010 Killarney Cape Town

Denis Geyer in his Rotary powered Mazda RX7 as well as a 323 Turbo Rotary. His vehicle carrier will be joined by the likes of Ivan Cotze (Ford Escort Cosworth Turbo), a 600kw Ford Escort powered by a Turbo Toyota motor & brothers Gert & Coert Pieterse (Turbo / Nitro Nissan Champ bakkie). Busy weekend a head – Weekend events

This weekend’s event update seems to quite a busy one. We have sound competitions track days and drifting events, it looks like this weekend is going to be a busy one.

Streetcar open track day – Killarney

We are so excited, it’s that time of the month again and Killarney is hosting its monthly Streetcar open track day. If you have never attended one of these before, we suggest you take your car down there this Sunday and take part in this awesome experience. What’s going down in your area

Like the heading says “what’s going down in your area”, this weekend we have a few treats happening down here in the cape.. Apparently the weather is supposed to be a bit crappy but that’s just according to the weather man, so lets hold thumbs the weather holds off a little longer.

Events in South Africa this weekend

Howzit guys and girls, if you don’t already know about these events going down in South Africa, we suggest you have a look!

Track day memories – Killarney Action

I was browsing through a bunch of old albums on my laptop from “back in the day” and i came across some cool pics of the track days me and my mates took part in at Killarney on the weekends!
In all honesty participating in an open Track day is most probably the best bit of driving experience you could ever have (obviously excluding things you do with your significant other while driving)!
There is no doubt in my mind that the track days we attended always left us SMILING!

Regional Main Circuit Racing – Killarney 5 June

The renewal of the Execuline Classic Car battle between Martin Richards, at the wheel of the fastest Datsun in Africa, and a more sophisticated Porsche 911 RS driven by Keith Rose, is expected to be one of the highlights of Saturday’s main circuit meeting at Killarney.
Although these two won one each during their hard fought encounters last month, the Richards moustache was bristling at what he considered to be the lack of passing opportunities on the track.
