Major Charity Park Off

On Saturday afternoon I made a turn at Club Fever, old Club @mosfeer, where Saville photography hosted a charity park off. They collected food parcels for the unprivileged people and kids and was well supported. Some companies like Racetec, Jimmy’s motors spares, Delite, Economic motor spares, and Fisherman’s lane also came on board sponsoring and supporting the event. It park off was well attended by Cape Town petrol heads and big ups to everyone that contributed. We surely need more park offs like this…

Until next time, God Bless…

A while ago I was approached by Marwaan Brittow to judge an event. MRN Stunnerz, in association with Low & Slow Crew, hosted their very first show & shine event. Linked to it was a bikini car wash, a sound off as well as a park off. It all went down over the weekend at Pinelands Sports field. All of this was in aid to raise funds for the Monte Dragons Dragon Boat Club.

The Ultimate Ridez car show

What a crazy start to the weekend?! On Friday, 27 April 2012, J.S. Klopper Primary in association with SSJ Concepts hosted one awesome event, “The Ultimate Ridez” car show out in Elsies River. The venue was packed with some awesome rides and peeps. There were some Car Club displays but it was the show cars that attracted the masses. Also paying R100 for unlimited dB runs surely created some headaches in the Autopunks camp. There was also some great Live Entertainment and super DJ’s wrecking the decks. ProTouch Ottery, Arrow …

Team Stance R Development club photoshoot

One thing about the Mother City’s petrol head scene is that we are blessed with a number of car clubs that always show support at any given car event. Over the weekend I had a chance to meet up with one of the supporting clubs, Team SRD, or should I say “Team Stance R Development”. We met up at Muizenberg Beach where Michael’s lambo door Golf almost caused a collision amongst the passing by traffic. People stopped to take pics of “Hulky”, causing a slow movement in the traffic! The …

Question Section – Toyota power

Message:
Hi erm… Have a Toyota corolla 16 gl carb and really want to give it some speed n sound by the motor
{Thurswin}
AutoModified Reply: Thurswin, there are a number of things you can do to improve the power. Like i tell everybody the best place to start is with the exhaust, getting those exhaust gasses out quicker is always a good place to start. Side draughts personally would be my next modification followed by a nice 276 cam and a bit of head work. With those 3 things your car should …
