Mk3 Vw Golf Rear wheel Drive conversion

This is something I personally have dreamt of doing to my Mk1 golf. A guy in Germany has done it to his Mk3 Golf, he has gone all out though.
The project all started off with a bare Mk3 Gti shell.

The car was then fitted with a modified Volvo T5 power plant. A couple special bits were added to the motor as you can see from the pictures.

Next the body was treated to an awesome powderkoting ,rollcage and sprayjob.

The drive train was put in place and all the bolts were secured.

The …

4 Pot NA Mashup – NA engine wars

Possibly the most used engines when it comes to 2L NA power (majority 16 valve). And we couldn’t give it to you without the ride option. What you think?

Angrrr Vw Bug – Forum Update

My leave has come to an end again. This time around, the amount of work I accomplished was pathetic. Its amazing how a seat cover can get in the way of a hobby (I suppose she is a hobby too…)
I started by removing my deep sump and replacing it with a larger unit. Now the engine swallows a full 5 liter oil can without the oil even reaching the dipstick. Total oil capacity is about 6.5 liters now, up from the original 2.5 liters.

I then went about making up a …

it turns out that my last time out on the track caused a bit of engine problems for my beloved ADY motor. It seems that the engine has suffered some what of a boo boo.
